These are protected natural areas, thanks to the Parc National des Cévennes and numerous Natura 2000 sites. On top of all this, the Gorges du Tarn are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Every year, visitors discover the natural wonders to be found here, and it is their duty to respect these sites and preserve this extraordinary natural area…

The classified site of the Gorges du Tarn et de la Jonte covers an area of 20,000 hectares spread over 19 communes, and aims to preserve the site’s landscape and heritage. The aim is to enable visitors to discover a preserved and welcoming site.
