A village
with an exceptional heritage
Les Salelles is a very picturesque village, with narrow streets and stone houses, a bridge spanning the River Lot and a grassy beach for picnics or even a dip! The charm of its 14th-century church attracts holidaymakers all year round, as do the various events that invite locals and non-locals alike to celebrate the summer season. The July 14th and August 15th festivals bring the village to life with a wide range of events for all ages. What’s more, in autumn the village hosts a bread festival, where visitors can discover the traditional bread oven and how it works, and enjoy a local meal featuring tasty local produce.
