La Cascade de Plagnes

Between Montfalgoux and Plagnes

Discover the Cascade de Plagnes on the Aubrac plateau, a pretty waterfall that appears as if by magic in the middle of nature!

All about

Cascade de Plagnes

Situated between the deep valleys of the Aubrac foothills and the high plateau, the landscape here leaves us dreaming. As we round a bend in the road, the waterfall suddenly appears. It’s formed by the Carteyrou stream, which flows down a volcanic cliff to join the Doulou, a tributary of the Lot.

A bridge spans the stream, allowing us to admire the waterfall.
